  This place is perfect!  Kindest staff Ever. My sandwich was delicious and am looking forward to trying more of what they offer.
  I brought my sandwich over to Brooks Brewing next door, and my beer made the whole experience delightful.

  This is a great meat market!  They just celebrated 30 years in business this past weekend and it was a great celebration for all the community to come to. I actually was there on both Saturday and Sunday! They were grilling brats, hotdogs and some kind of veal loaf that can best be described as similar to fried bologna. I'm not usually a sausage person but they were so damn good that I ate 2 of the fresh brats myself! And yes I did eat the veal loaf too and that was equally as delicious! Slathered with vinegary yellow mustard and tons of chopped white onions it was definitely worth a double at the gym today!! They had fresh made giant German pretzels and cake and fresh cider for all their customers too. Would you even believe they had a goodie basket full of toys and prizes for the kids pick from! My kids were so excited.
  I've only recently discover this market with in the last few months, even though I've passed it a million times since living in Shelby Township. Shame on me for waiting so long to stop in because this place truly is a great family owned and restaurant n business! Not only is the meat and deli items top quality but the employees professional and welcoming personalities are top quality too! Everyone begins the counters says HI and asks if you need help- they remember you and remember what you order/like. It's the type of business where they ask about your kids and ask how your day is going, and genuinely mean it! If the generous nature of the employees wasn't enough, how about the generous FREE samples throughout the store. I'm pretty certain Costco stole the "Free Sample" idea from Nitsches! You can try a wide variety of the items they sell just by grabbing a toothpick and skewering a kabob of meats and cheeses or grab a sample (or 6) from the warming tray.
  Wana know the best tip ever for this place?? Get the fresh made to order sandwich!! It's a beast and only $3.50! Yes, a custom made fresh deli sandwich for only $3.50. Chose your bread, you choice of any lunch meat and cheese from their deli and then pick you topping and condiments. Their sandwich are BOMB! Wana make it a meal? For just $1 more they will add 2 pickles, pretzels (way better than chips in my option) and a few cookies. Where can you get a complete lunch for $4.50!? At Nitsches is where!
  They also have a hot food case where they sell delicious rotisserie chicken ready to take and serve. They also have ribs and pig candy ready to eat. A old school rotating dessert case displays a good dozen or more deli salads.
  This place is a must is check out. Grab a quick, healthy lunch sandwich or grab some meat for dinner. Yes they have a dessert case to satisfy your sweet tooth too.
  The quality, both, of their products and awesome employees will keep me coming back time and time again! Congrats on 30 years Nitsches! Cheers to 30 more!!

  We stopped here on a whim. I'm a sucker for anything I haven't tried before, especially if it's a bit on the weird side.
  
  The inside is quite small, with a deli section, a meat section, a frozen food section, and a few aisles of groceries. The frozen section had lots of varieties of pre-prepared foods made by Nitsches (or at least had their name on it) including chicken parm, meatballs, pot roast, lasagna and city chicken. They also had a nice selection of salads (pasta salad, German potato salad, etc.) in large bowls in a dessert cooler next to the cash register.  But I was there for weird meat.
  
  In the end, I opted for some veal bologna, some blueberry and maple breakfast sausages, and some pate with smoked onions. The bologna and sausage very very good. I haven't gotten around to the pate yet. I should have gotten some Weisswurst too, but I guess I'll have to save that for next time. The hubby, who does not share my penchant for food adventures, got a bumpy cake cupcake and a lemon bar.  He reports that both were good. The staff were attentive and answered all of my questions.
  
  This isn't anywhere near my neck of the woods, but all in all, it is a solid place to visit.

  Just moved next door to this amazing place! Wonderful neighbors as well as amazing food and meats - grass fed beef and organic!

  Best Meat shop in Michigan.  We have been going there for over 20 years. I travel to Germany a lot and find Nitches to have authentic foods and brand!  We even had them cater our son's graduation party.
